Founder and Advanced Skin Therapist

As the owner and Advanced Skin Therapist, Sue prides herself on ensuring excellence for her customers. Passionate about beauty and education, she specialises in advanced skin therapies, sharing her expertise as a leading therapist in New Zealand. Outside of work, she loves exploring new places and cultures with her family, and savoring local cuisines during her global travels.

John Dewes-Hodgson

Founder

John, Sue’s partner, has been full-time at the Clinic for the past 7 years. With a background in sales and customer service management, John has embodied these key skills throughout his roles as a Rural Manager, Branch Manager and Area Manager for a Bank. He has supported Sue behind the scenes for over 25 years, building up a sound understanding of beauty therapy treatments and products during this time.

Senior Beauty Therapist

Ellisha is a senior Beauty Therapist With nearly 23 years of experience in the industry. Her passion comes from the joy of nurturing others and enhancing their natural beauty. Specialising in skin care, she enjoys administering personalised treatments, utilising her knowledge of ingredients, facial peels, needling, and an array of innovative beauty techniques.

Senior Beauty Therapist

Terina recently joined the Tranquillo team as a Senior Beauty Therapist. She has developed the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met professionally. With experience in team management, promoting health and safety, and resolving technical and logistical challenges, Terina has the adaptability and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in any setting.

Toni Biddle

Intermediate Beauty Therapist

As you may know, Toni broke her ankle over the Christmas period. She has been recovering well, and we hope she’ll return with us in March. Toni is an intermediate Beauty Therapist with 5 years of experience in the beauty industry, joining our team with a Level 4 Beauty Therapy qualification. Her passion for beauty treatments spans over 5 years, where she has developed a diverse skill set in administering various therapies. She loves the variety in her work, and her favourite part about her job is enhancing people’s confidence.

Hine Pahau Wilson

Junior Beauty Therapist

Hine has recently resumed her Level 5 studies, so moving forward, she’ll be with us on Saturdays and during The Clinic training sessions on Wednesdays. As a recent 2024 Elite School of Beauty graduate with a Level 4 qualification, Hine specialises in massage, facials, waxing, and eye treatments. Hine is also a passionate squash player and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends outside of work.
