Meet our team of friendly and attentive staff who are dedicated to giving you the best beauty treatments in Tauranga.

Sue is the manager of Tranquillo Beauty

Meet Sue

As the owner and Advanced Skin Therapist, Sue prides herself on ensuring excellence for her customers.

She understands that her customers all have individual needs and loves making her clients feel pampered. Sue is very passionate about beauty treatments and education so she is continuously immersed in the industry, expanding her beauty knowledge for both herself and her clients.  Her passion for the industry is primarily in the advanced skin therapies,  and she is one of New Zealand's leading Therapist, who continues to share her knowledge with both her customers and colleagues.

Outside of work, Sue is married to John and has a teenage son Tom. She loves exploring new places and has traveled extensively worldwide, sampling both the local culture and the  food.

Marti Szekeres

Marti Szekeres

Originally from Hungary, Marti lived in Auckland, New Zealand for over a decade. With her husband and a ragdoll cat called Coco, Marti relocated to Tauranga in late 2015.

Marti has a curious mind and strong work ethic that saw her complete a Bachelor of Business, along with certificates and diplomas in beauty therapy. She believes you can never stop learning and is always looking to improve her knowledge and skills in beauty therapy. She has a keen interest in advanced skin technologies.

Marti has a gentle touch and caring nature. She is happiest when her clients’ leave feeling satisfied, happy and refreshed.

Madison Hamel

Madison Hamel

Madison has been with us over the last year having  completed her studies and qualifying at a Beauty Therapist. She is  now offering an ever increasing range of treatments,  including  facials, waxing , eye enhancement, manicure and Pedicures.  

She is looking forward to seeing you all again soon,  as her Beauty Therapist career develops at Tranquillo.

 

John DH

John Dewes-Hodgson

John, Sue's partner,  has now been fulltime at the Clinic for the past 5 years .  Initially stepping in to help cover the Front of Clinic for a few months,  he is still at the Clinic managing the front of house.

His background is in sales, customer service, management learnt  from his roles a a Rural Manager, Branch Manager and Area Manager for a Bank.  He has supported Sue in the background for over 25 years, and so has built up a sound understanding of Beauty Therapy treatments and products in this time.  

You will most likely meet John as your first point of contact,  via the phone or in the Clinic. He will help you book in your treatment, talk about products and make sure you end up with the right Therapist to help you.
